Elevate Recreation could not fulfill its mission without the tireless dedication of its partners and volunteers. We appreciate the efforts of the individuals, organizations, schools, small businesses and corporations who understand the need for consistent mentoring of at-risk children.

In 2017, more than 200 at-risk kids are being mentored on a weekly basis at TEN public schools in Jefferson County, Kentucky.  We are also in an adult day care for those with special needs and a local orphanage every single month.

Thank you to Metro United Way, Northeast Christian Church and other community partners for investing in our work!

As we continue to grow, so does our need for more partners. If you or your organization would like to partner with us, we’d love to hear from you. Contact Logan Murphy at 502.718.4145 or e-mail Logan!

  1. I want you to know how much the work that you are doing is appreciated. As the teacher of one of the students that you are mentoring at Chancey Elementary School, I do not often have the opportunity to “see” the impact of your involvement. However, on conference day, the foster mother of one of the students that you have been working with could not say enough about what you are doing for her son.
As a single mother, her son has no male role models. She went on and on about how grateful she was for you and all you are doing for her “little man”. She had already seen a difference in his attitude at home and said that every Tuesday afternoon he comes home and tells her all about how much fun he has had with you.
It is so easy to lose track of the things that are important. Thank you for keeping this teacher on track by providing me with the reminder that reading and math do occassionally need to come in second to developing character, confidence, and self esteem. I sing your highest praises.
